I am a lifelong artist with education and practice in several mediums: drawing, painting, multimedia & collage, ceramics, and printmaking. Throughout my long and winding journey in the arts, I found printmaking to be the most wonderful, satisfying, and therapeutic artform. I love how printmaking presents so many opportunities for our personality and individual style to come through. My favorite part of block printing is that it encourages me to create in a slow, intentional way, and I savor all of the moments I find myself immersed in each stage of the process.Ā
Printing on fabric is special, but also presents some frustrating challenges without the right guidance! If you already have some printing experience or if you are just starting on your printmaking journey, I would love to share tips and tricks to help shorten the learning curve for you. By the end of this course you will be able to get perfect, beautiful, and reliable prints on fabric. I look forward to printing with you!
